Do Stuff Guide

DO STUFF AND GET STUFF DONE

A Guide For Women Entrepreneurs

This 55-page guide shares the Do Stuff Process we use at LoreleiSibet.com when we do stuff and get stuff done in our personal, professional, and community lives.

As women entrepreneurs, sometimes:

We do stuff, but we’re unsure if it’s the right stuff to get us the stuff we really want.

We do stuff, but we wonder if it’s the best way to do that stuff.

We do stuff but feel like we don’t get stuff done.

We don’t do stuff, and trying to avoid it consumes more energy and time than the time it would take to get the stuff done. However, we feel we can’t do that stuff.

We get things done. Then, realized that wasn’t the right stuff. Now there’s consequence stuff, cleanup stuff, pivot stuff, and new path stuff. There’s four times the stuff!

We decide we’re never going to do that stuff again!

Where Do Entrepreneurs Get Stuck?

When the avoidance of stuff consumes an unfair share of energy and minutes, shame sets in. Then fear. Usually, this is in just one or two areas of their life, but this is the stuff that can destroy everything.

This STUFF is why I made this process into a guide and started my site. It’s devastating to watch this stuff destroy a woman’s business, confidence, and resilience.

The Do Stuff Process Keeps Us Unstuck

I created the Do Stuff Process to place a practice across all of the stuff. Equalizing the stuff and looking at each one simply as consumers of energy and minutes.

The Do Stuff Process specifically:

Helps clearly define what stuff we really want.
Guides us to make informed decisions on the steps we’ll take to get it.
Creates a routine to set timers and take action to get it done.
Encourages celebrating accomplishments.

We’re consistently focused on doing stuff that gets us the stuff we really want.

We reduce doing stuff the wrong way, creating more stuff to do.

And, puts a familiar process in place that we can rely on as we move through the sticky and hard stuff.

Do Stuff Process – What’s In The Guide

1. Know Yourself

To do stuff and get stuff done relies on three very important partners – Brain, Body, and Mind. In this first section of the guide, we explore the role they play as you are taking action in your business and life.

Your Brain – Survival / Boss of Body

Your Body – Organic Vehicle

Your Mind – Infinitely-Creative Thought Machine

2. Set Goals

Assess what you really want. To do this, we use eight areas of wellness to explore every aspect of your personal, professional, and community life. Two worksheets help you set and prioritize goals.

3. Make Informed Decisions

Each goal will have a step or series of steps to get it. Make a decision on what plan of action you think you’ll take. Share with others. Reconsider. Last, we must use our gut to choose what’s best now.

4. Timers and Take Action

The hard work is done! Now we follow the list. Set a timer and make a start. See it through and finish the minutes. The “It’s Just 20-Minutes” Worksheet helps empty the Mind and take action.

5. Celebrate Accomplishments

Of course! We’re in charge of the rewards program! Likely, you don’t do enough of this. Is an occasional edible, extra, or experiential treat really too much to ask? =) Track your rewards against your steps and goals.

OH NO!

The process cannot work 100% of the time – we’re not robots. There are times when it just seems like you can’t do any stuff. For these moments, I included a final section called:

When It’s Not Working

Troubleshooting and Tools for your Brain, Body, and Mind when they aren’t cooperating.

Guides and worksheets offer several solutions to address specific areas of stickiness in the Brain, Body, and Mind so we can move through and get stuff done.

Do Stuff and Get Stuff Done

About Me

As a business consultant, I help women entrepreneurs do stuff and get stuff done in their personal, professional, and community lives.

I created this guide and worksheets to share the Do Stuff Process that I use in my consulting and that I’ve used in my own life to DO a lot of stuff and get a lot of stuff DONE.

I’ve constructed the process using multiple known and proven methods and systems. They were picked specifically as they reduce cortisol (stress), create consistent dopamine (accomplishment), and even allow room for oxytocin (LOVE).

I deliver it with my flair and communication style. =)

I hope you find this guide and worksheets to be a helpful process as you do stuff and get stuff done in your personal, professional, and community life.

THANK YOU!
